Beginning to intermediate Flamenco Technique

This class is for beginning to intermediate dancers and will focus on learning basic skills and short choreographies using those elements. New session beginning in 2025. Classes offered from 12 noon to 1 PM Tuesdays. New six week session starts October 14th (October 14, 21, 28 and November 4, 11, 18). Full session cost $132 ($22/class prepaid) or $25 walk in rate.

Flamenco Technique and Choreography for Teens (10-18 years) International Dance Arts Collective
Northern California Dance Conservatory, 920 Reserve Dr, STE 110 Roseville, CA: Mondays 4:30 to 5:30

These classes are for dancers age 10 to 18 through International Dance Arts Collective and will teach flamenco technique and refine a choreography to be performance ready. This is an 9-week session beginning August 26th. Contact IDAC for more information: https://www.peacethroughdance.org

Beginning Flamenco - New Class for Fall 2025
Sierra College Continuing Education , CA: Thursdays 5:30 to 6:30 PM

This class introduces beginners to this passionate Spanish art form of dance, music, and song. It covers flamenco’s Andalusian roots, basic posture, arm and hand movements (braceo/floreo), and simple footwork (zapateado) with rhythmic clapping (palmas). Students will learn a short choreography combining these elements, focusing on coordination and expression. Current session through mid-October with a new session scheduled in the Spring.
